The Lion of Judah is a division of United Jewish Communities that recognizes the group of women who contribute $5,000 or more per year to United Jewish Communities. The contribution is symbolized by a beautiful Lion of Judah pin. The pin was introduced in 1972 by the Miami Women's Division campaign and is a symbol of a commitment to the worldwide Jewish community.
The Lions of Judah may wish to endow their gift at the Lion level thereby providing the community with a perpetual campaign gift at the minimum of $5,000 each year. These commited women dedicated at least $100,000 toward the creation of the LOJE: Lion of Judah Endowment. In recognition of this gift, the Or L'Atid flame may be added to a woman's Lion of Judah pin.
