"Catcher was a Spy" tells the story of major league baseball player, Moe Berg, who lived a double life working for the Office of Strategic Services in WWII. "Catcher was a Spy" opens August 17 at Goggleworks Film Theatre with showtimes at 3 pm and 7 pm on weekdays and 12 pm, 3 pm and 7 pm on Saturday and Sunday.
Jewish Federation of Reading will lead a special post-film discussion following the 3 pm screening of "Catcher was a Spy" on Sunday, August 19. Our discussion will be led by Brian Engelhardt, a local baseball historian and author of "Reading's Big League Exhibition Games".
Tickets are available for purchase at the Goggleworks box office starting thirty minutes before showtime. The film is rated R and runs 98 minutes.
