Join Yuval Moha, Community Shaliach at the Jewish Federation of Delaware, for three sessions designed to deepen our understanding of the history of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

Since the end of WW1, though, the Balfour declaration, the British mandate over Palestine, and until the UN’s partition plan in 1947.
The British mandate was a main factor in shaping the roots of the 100 years of bloody conflict between Jews and Arabs in Palestine, known today as the “Israeli–Palestinian conflict.”
In the program, we will dive into some of the events and review different leaders' decisions, to try and get a better understanding of what led to the creation of that territory, to be the perfect fertile land for a conflict.

Part 3: “Falling Empires”- The third part is about the downfall of the Arab national movement. This was in contrast to the rise of the Zionist movement, as it made its journey towards creating a Jewish state. All this, in a decade symbolised by two other major events - World War II and the collapse of the British Empire.
