Because of its modest size, Israel's environmental problems are largely transboundary. Cooperation with neighboring countries is needed to progess in areas from stream restoration to species repatriation. Speaker Alon Tal, will discuss how the present peace process might be leveraged to ensure an ecological dividend for the region. Alon Tal is a Stanford Graduate School of Business visiting professor. He was a member of Israel's parliament and served as chair of the subcommittee for Environmental and Climate Impacts on Health from 2021 to 2022.
